Ever had your CDs stolen, or "loaned" them to a
friend who never returned them? Want a quick, easy, and cheap way to ID them as yours? CD Hub labels are the solution. Just read my testimonial,
er, I mean victim's account. Let me paint a picture...
You get to the party and everyone's dancing to Eminem, Ja Rule, or something
bad like that. Being the nice guy/girl that you are, you offer your CDs
to the cause. It's only a matter of time before people are offering you
drinks and once again, out of politeness no doubt, you say sure. Give
or take this same scenario about 10 or so times and you've got yourself a
party. Not only is that lonely girl/guy in the corner looking pretty good
by now, but the music is kicking. Would it be fair to say you are somewhat
inebriated, a little too intoxicated to walk a straight line, or say the
ABCs backwards?
Suddenly you wake up. A dream? I think not. Welcome to college... and
a really bad hangover. As you try to remember the past night's events,
you realize your CDs were stolen. Who could it have been? The truth is
you know exactly who it was -- that shy, spiky-haired clepto who was sitting
in the corner all night. Unfortunately, this scenario was not invented, but really happened
to yours truly about 6 months ago.
So maybe you can't prevent all the mishaps of stolen property, but there's
something you can do so that the person who has your CDs knows that they're yours. How you say? With CD Hub labels!
And don't I wish I'd used them!
CD Hub labels are small, unobtrusive labels that are applied to the center
ring of a standard CD, and they're perfect for store-bought CDs, which
you probably wouldn't want to apply a full label to. CD Hub labels can
be applied using the Full-faced applicator and have a wide range of uses.
Take my story for example. Had I used Hub Labels, I could have put my
name, dorm room, phone number, or better yet a little message like "Is
this your CD? If not, I know where you live." Sure there is the "practical"
use for Hub labels, like putting your name, etc. on them, but for all
those things you ever wanted to say to that shmuck who stole your CDs,
that THIEF, well that's what I use CD Hub Labels for.
CD Hub labels are unobtrusive, easy-to-apply, and
perfect for ID'ing your store-bought CDs and DVDs.
Other uses for CD Hub Labels:
- Software serial number
- Name, address, and phone number
- Categorizing or simple identification
- Notes (Happy Birthday, To Joe, etc.)
- Color-coding music by category, likes/dislikes, etc.
Take my advice: buy the labels, take the time to label them, and you’ll
definitely be glad.
