For all photos you've taken recently, simply plug in your digital camera and SureThing Photo automatically imports them and organizes them by the date they were taken. There's no need to download them to separate folders first — SureThing Photo will manage the entire process for you.

SureThing Photo preserves the EXIF data* your camera records with digital photos, including the camera model, shutter speed, lens aperture, focal length and whether a flash was used, as well as the date and time the photo was taken, its physical dimensions, etc.

If you have prints or slides you'd like to import, you can easily scan them with your flatbed or slide scanner directly into SureThing Photo, where you can organize, fix and enhance them just like photos taken with your digital camera.

Because SureThing Photo automatically organizes all photos by date, finding and viewing photos from a given month or year is effortless! Simply click "2004," for instance, to see a list of all rolls shot that year. Or click "May" to see all photos from May of 2004.

The elegant simplicity of SureThing Photo's keyword sorting ability belies its true power. This feature lets you create an index of your photo collection for instant retrieval of images. You simply enter keywords, either for individual photos (e.g., "kids," "pets," etc.) or groups of photos ("Maui," "vacation," etc.), and SureThing Photo cross-references them for super fast retrieval. As your photo collection grows, you'll find keyword-sorting to be an invaluable tool.

* Most current digital cameras record images with EXIF metadata. If you have photos taken with an older camera, EXIF data may not exist, but this does not affect SureThing Photo's ability to work with them.
